The core exercises for the first 6-8 weeks focused on building core stability before moving on to tougher more advanced exercises. The planned and controlled approach to each weeks training as well as excellent instruction is key to my core strength and development over the last 6 months. I have noticed a marked improvement in my running style. Furthermore core training has helped me to understand the muscle groups that are required for efficient running. This has allowed me to engage these muscles more readily and has seen an improvement in my racing times.
There is no one size fits all approach here, we do this by utilising several unique steps;
Step 1. Comprehensive Movement Assessment
- Here we start with a movement assessment which shows us your strength and weaknesses identifying which muscles need to be stretched and which muscles need strengthening. This ensures we start your training at the right level and reduces risks of injury and gets you to your goal quickly and safely.
Step 2. A Thorough Understanding of What You Want to Achieve and Why You Want to Achieve it!
- Most people wanting to change their lifestyle to lose weight or tone up or get fitter need support. At this stage we place great importance on understanding exactly what you want to achieve and then agreeing upon a short term goal that is equally realistic and challenging to you. This clarity of direction creates a focus for both you and your trainer. We also discuss how we can best support you through the crucial first few workouts.
Step 3. We take you through your first workout!
- Using all our coaching experience we guide you through the exercises paying particular attention to exercise technique, ensuring you work the right muscles to get full value from each exercise.
Step 4. Continuing Progression
- As your body becomes more stable and you start seeing results we progress your programme to provide you with fresh challenges and guaranteeing continuous results.
Step 5. Continued Support
- All of our clients are asked to complete homework, structured and specific to your needs which helps speed up the results process. Our howmework plans are flexibile enough so that you don’t need to join an expensive gym, you can do it at home!
Prices:
One to One Training – €60 per 1 hour session or 8 sessions for €450.
One to One Training – €40 per half hour session.
Buddy Up Training (2-3 people) – €80 per 1 hour session or 8 sessions for €600.
